Simpleway was founded by Jakub Maler and Andrej Zachar in 2005 in Prague, Czech Republic. 

During the first years, we developed a number of high-profile web, mobile and desktop applications for various international companies such as Telefonica O2, the bank ÄŒeskoslovenská obchodní banka – a member of the KBC group, Polarion, or T-Mobile.

In 2006, when Petr Otoupal joined the board of Simpleway, we started to focus on applications that are able to fulfill the needs of large travel hubs through comprehensive passenger way-finding solutions. Today, we offer three key systems: the voice announcement system SimpleVOX, the flight information display system SimpleVUE and the mobile notification platform SimpleCUE. All Simpleway systems are seamlessly integrated through a shared, common platform.

In 2007, we installed SimpleVOX at the Prague international airport, which proved a great success. Since then, Simpleway’s solutions have undergone a fast and rapid evolution from the initial version to the current comprehensive and outstanding solution for travel hubs – the unified passenger information system.
