Quick, Flexible, and Reliable Hangar Extension Solutions
Spantech offers a quick, flexible, and reliable solution to extend your hangar or accommodate the tail of a plane. We design custom-made steel structures on wheels with the following features:
- Insulated connection to the existing building
- Movable structure operable with a light forklift
- Natural lighting and insulation provided by our efficient inflatable and translucent membranes
Lightweight hangar extension unit, known as a tail-out box
- Customized door solutions delivered by our partners
- Lightweight foundation system suitable for existing surfaces
- Cladding with sandwich panels up to 200 mm thick
Spantech provides both aluminum and steel frame options, capable of accommodating large aircraft such as the A380 and B747. Our structures include the following features:
- Inflated PVC thermoroof for enhanced insulation and natural lighting
- Movable on wheels for easy repositioning
- Compressed air systems integrated
- Maintenance gantries and walkways for efficient servicing
- Crane capacity up to 5 tons (subject to feasibility study)
- Motorized vehicle doors at the rear for convenient access and operation
