Do you need to read visas, passports and only have a limited amount of space available? The ML 2 A is your answer. The ML 2 A is ideal for any application that must read passports or travel documents.

With a first time read rate of more than 96 percent, the ML 2 A will help you to reduce the line at check-in. The most common protocols are supported and can be selected by a software tool without changing firmware or setting jumpers. A 3-track MSR is included to read common credit cards, loyalty cards or ATB’s. Both readers work bidirectionally.

Magnetic card reader:

  • Card can be swiped in both directions
  • Reads track 1, 2 and 3 in accordance with ISO 7810, ISO 7811
  • Additional configuration: AAMVA,CADL
  • Parameters can be adjusted using WinProgrammer (header and terminator)
  • Magnetic head can perform over 1 million read cycles
  • OPOS and Java POS drivers status indicator for good/bad reading
