BCAS Mobile – Vehicle-mounted acoustic deterrence for bird control teams

BCAS Mobile – a vehicle-mounted avian and terrestrial species’ acoustic deterrence system for wildlife control units. Manually operated through a control module in the car cockpit, the two powerful acoustic modules emit Volacom’s proprietary ASR-inducing signal, clearing the runway both from birds and other animals, without causing any harm or stress. Scientific studies and experiments have concluded that no habituation to the signal occurs regardless of how many times birds/animals are exposed to it. At more than 145 dB @ 1m BCAS Mobile’s acoustic emitters are some of the loudest on the market today, but also allow for manual adjustment of the sound pressure in case higher such is not allowed or desirable.

The system can be mounted on any type of vehicle, including pickup trucks, minivans, sedans, golf carts etc. Package includes a standardized set of items and detailed instructions for DIY installation, including 2x acoustic modules, adjustable support bars, control module, amplifier, cabling, yellow warning lights, and remote control. Power supply is sourced from the car battery.

Alternatively, the system can be installed at a fixed location and pointed to a specific direction where operators know of persistent wildlife presence, and start/stop it manually through the remote control included in the set.
