PBB Software

We have developed and certified a universal application for the software for all type of PBBs, consisting of a unique software program that can be directly configured for the specific PBB where it will be installed, without changing any of the hardware equipment already existing at the PBBs. Therefore, this solution can be applied without adding or modifying the existing PLC or HMI components.

This is a great advantage because all PBBs in the Airport can be retrofitted to present the same type of information and data, which greatly facilitates the Operators when accessing different type / brand of PBBs, as they will always find the same layout, display and operational modus on all of them. In the end, we have developed this solution with a very intuitive user interface, graphical display and scalable resolution, allowing for more hardware options.

Our software application also positively impacts on the memory consumption of the existing PLC’s, as it incorporates cutting-edge technology, which translates into a more stable and robust solution, minimising the risks of reduced life time of equipment.

Our software solution for PBBs is split into two different options: PLC software and HMI software. The PLC software incorporates all routines and certified safety program to safely operate the PBB, while the HMI software provides all the configuration scheme to adapt to the specific PBB architecture and to provide the PBB operator with a clear and intuitive operational procedure, greatly facilitating the safe manoeuvring of the PBB under all conditions.

Same as other solutions in our portfolio, the PBB software provides the Airport with a unique solution independent of the PBB OEM and therefore can be adapted on all type/brand of PBBs.
