The HITZINGER No-Break Dynamic Diesel (NBDD) system consists of a rigid flywheel that rotates at a constant speed and is attached directly to the generator shaft. This type of UPS system is often referred to as a rotating uninterruptible power supply.
In the event of a short-term or complete power failure, the kinetic energy stored in the flywheel is used to supply the required energy until the diesel generator takes over the supply of the loads.
In complex processes, a brief power failure can result in contamination and production stops. U POWER NBDD prevents this and thus prevents downtimes and shutdowns.
