cds-AGL SlotRestore flex eco is a specialised two-component epoxy grout developed for filling saw-cut Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) cable slots and cable joints in asphalt airside pavements.

The product provides the same proven performance as the standard cds-AGL SlotRestore flex while incorporating a biobased epoxy binder containing ≥18% biobased carbon, reducing the CO₂ footprint of AGL installations while maintaining the same performance characteristics as the standard system.

The flexible formulation protects installed AGL cables while restoring the continuity of the pavement surface around the cable slot. Its behaviour is compatible with asphalt pavements, allowing the restored slot to accommodate aircraft loads and thermal movement typical of flexible airside pavements.

The material is used on runways, taxiways and aprons where cable slots are created during installation or maintenance of airfield ground lighting systems. By sealing and protecting the cable installation, cds-AGL SlotRestore flex eco helps maintain the durability and long-term performance of the surrounding pavement.

The grout is resistant to aviation fuels, de-icing chemicals and other substances commonly encountered in airside environments.

cds-AGL SlotRestore flex eco forms part of the cds-AGL eco system for more sustainable airfield lighting installations. Climate-specific hardeners allow curing times to be adjusted to suit ambient temperature and available closure windows, supporting efficient installation during limited runway possession periods.

cds-AGL SlotRestore flex eco is available in grey or black, with additional colours such as red, blue, green and yellow available on request to support cable identification.
