- Suitable for installation during limited runway possession windows
cds-AGL SlotRestore rigid eco is a specialised two-component epoxy grout for filling saw-cut Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) cable slots in concrete airside pavements.
The grout provides reliable filling of cable slots in concrete surfaces, restoring the continuity and integrity of the pavement at the slot location. Its high-strength formulation is designed to match the behaviour of rigid pavements, ensuring durable performance under airside operating conditions.
The product is used on runways, taxiways and aprons where cable slots are created during installation or maintenance of airfield ground lighting systems. It is developed based on an epoxy grout system compliant with FAA AC 150/5370-10, Item P-606.
cds-AGL SlotRestore rigid eco incorporates a biobased epoxy binder containing ≥18% biobased carbon, reducing the CO₂ footprint of airfield lighting installations while maintaining the same mechanical performance and durability as conventional systems.
The grout is resistant to aviation fuels, de-icing chemicals and other substances commonly encountered in airside operating conditions.
cds-AGL SlotRestore rigid eco forms part of the cds-AGL eco system for more sustainable airfield lighting installations. Variants are available to suit different climate conditions and required curing times, supporting efficient installation within limited runway possession windows.
