The air conditioning hose is a significant wear part of an entire PCA system. Therefore, airports strive to have a strongly wear-resistant hose with low temperature losses. With the new ISTinox PCA Air Hose, we can cover this need of the airports.
Both the inner shell and the outer shell are made of high-strength fabric and can withstand high levels of abrasion. The middle insulation layer consists of synthetic wedding, which is designed to keep the cool temperature and reflect radiation and heat. A sheathed, strong PVC spiral construction prevents the duct from collapsing and squeezing and at the same time remains resistant to abrasion, fatigue and deterioration due to weather and chemical influences.
In order to minimize wear costs, the air conditioning hose is manufactured in segments of 6-8 meters so that only highly used segments have to be replaced. The air conditioning hose also convinces with its low temperature loss of less than 0.1° C per meter hose.
