Description

“Flight Information Display System” or FIDS is a module for configuring and delivering flight information on dynamic screens in airports. FIDS is crucial to guiding passengers to the correct flight, gate, and baggage checkout, as well as to monitoring and controlling flights, schedules, security, and operations throughout the airport.

It contains a display of different work modes. Some of them display outgoing and incoming flights or baggage for a particular flight. Also it offers the possibility to set display information above Check-in and gate counters.  Above Check-in counters are shown various messages and which flight is being check-ed in on that counter. Info on the gate counters contains which plane is boarding. It is also used to send security and safety messages.
