FGZ bi-folding gate
With an opening and closing speeds of up to 1 m/s, the bi-folding gates achieve opening times comparable to those of a barrier, while offering the added advantage of providing secure protection against both ve-hicles and pedestrians. The FGZ is designed for up to 600 operating cycles per day. The newly developed lever-arm system ensures reliable operation wi-thout requiring upper or lower guided tracks. For specific applications, the gate leaves can optionally be guided by a ground track or an over-head track. The ground track is drained and can also be heated to ensure reliable operation in demanding weather conditions.

DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION
Where transport dimensions permit, ZABAG folding gates are delivered fully pre-assembled and tested in an upright position, ready for instalation. For electrically operated gates, all safety edge wiring and drive components are factory-installed, significantly reducing on-site work. After delivery, the complete gate can be lifted directly onto the pre-pared foundation, eliminating time-consuming assembly steps such as hanging the gate leaves, installing drive components, or wiring the safety edges. This minimizes installation time, reduces the need for lifting equipment, and enables fast and efficient commissioning. Supplied drilling templates further simplify on-site installation.

Corrosion protection
System 3Plus – All steel components that are not hot-dip galvanized are treated with a high-quality powder coating. The coating system consists of a two-stage pretreatment with shot blasting and zinc spraying, followed by an epoxy-polyester powder coating and thermal curing.
The coating meets the highest requirements for durability and is resistant to scratches, abrasion, solvents, chemicals, and oils.

Electro mechanical drive system, optimally adapted to the gate weight and frequency of use, with lockable emergency release
Control unit
Microprocessor-based control unit with frequency converter and three individually adjustable speed ramps for optimized acceleration, deceleration and smooth, controlled movement. This ensures exceptionally smooth and safe gate operation while reducing mechanical stress on the drive system and gate components
