Touchscreen Microphone Stations (micnode2h/g)

Description
Specifications

nnounce touchscreen microphone stations put a full paging interface at the gate or the operator desk. Each station has a built-in touchscreen showing flight information and announcement controls, so staff can play a preconfigured announcement at one touch or page live through the microphone. They come in two variants: the micnode2h with a handheld push-to-talk microphone, and the micnode2g with a gooseneck microphone and a push-to-talk button.

Key benefits:

  • A touchscreen station with flight information and one-touch announcements right at the gate
  • Choose a handheld microphone (micnode2h) or a gooseneck microphone (micnode2g)
  • Play preconfigured multilingual announcements at one touch, or page live
  • A built-in neural engine powers on-device text-to-speech and speech-to-text
  • Runs Airport CX, third-party HTML5 applications, or a Q-SYS UCI on the same screen
  • Q-SYS library verified, with built-in security

How it works:

The station is an all-in-one passenger communication device that removes the need for a separate paging workstation. It comes ready for daily operations with your announcements, languages, and predefined zones already set up. When integrated with Airport CX, staff can start flight-related voice announcements at a boarding gate or any assigned location, and the displays update to match. Role-based interfaces such as GateUI show each operator only the flights and zones they need.

The built-in touchscreen runs Simpleway CX, third-party HTML5 applications, or a Q-SYS user control interface, so one device can serve several roles. A hardware neural engine handles text-to-speech and speech-to-text on the station itself, which supports live announcement capture and translation. The stations are built on the nnounce platform with open standards and built-in security, and they can be extended to secondary locations with the micnode aux accessory microphone.
