Copperchase’s Voice and Data Recording Systems capture every air traffic control communication, so airports, airfields and ATC units can replay, investigate and demonstrate exactly what happened. The Copperchase AIR voice, data and video recorder and replay system is in use at UK airports, conforms to ICAO Annex 10, Volume II, Chapter 3.5, and has UK CAA approval.
Continuous multi-channel voice recording. Copperchase AIR records radio channels and telephone lines continuously across multiple channels. High-quality digitisation reproduces every recording faithfully, with no loss of quality. The voice recorder is available as a hardware-based or PC-based recording system to suit each air traffic control unit.
Voice, radar, CCTV and data in one recorder. Beyond voice, Copperchase AIR logs radar, CCTV video and other digital data sources. Its recording architecture captures and stores high volumes of voice and data traffic, and integrates with radar systems and network management tools.
Synchronised replay for incident investigation. Synchronised radar and audio replay lets ATC managers and investigators see and hear events together, making incident investigation and controller training faster and more accurate. A replay client and user-friendly interface software make searching and replaying recordings straightforward.
Compliant and secure recording. Copperchase AIR is designed to meet regulatory requirements for data retention, encryption and privacy, with efficient storage for quick retrieval of recordings. Network time servers keep voice recording synchronised with other airport systems, and Copperchase training covers impound request procedures for CAA actions.
Proven at UK airports. At Cranfield Airport, Copperchase AIR gained UK CAA approval under the Air Navigation Order 2016, Article 206. At North Weald Airfield, it records and replays radio, telephone and radar data as part of a turnkey ATC upgrade.
For airports and air traffic control units, Copperchase’s Voice and Data Recording Systems deliver dependable recording and replay, backed by Copperchase installation, training, support and maintenance.
