The Tugman is Simpleway’s 17-inch ruggedized touchscreen, built for the ramp. Baggage handlers use it outdoors to update baggage information and check assignments in conditions that would damage an ordinary screen. It runs TugmanUI, the role-based interface set up for baggage operations.
Key benefits:
- Built for the ramp, with a sealed stainless-steel case rated IP65 and NEMA 4X
- The resistive touchscreen works with work gloves on
- Withstands water, dust, corrosive liquids, and temperatures from -10 to +60 degrees Celsius
- Runs TugmanUI for baggage operations, ready out of the box
- Mounts on a tug, a stand, or a wall using the VESA pattern
How it works:
The Tugman puts the baggage information display system in the hands of the people working the ramp. Handlers assign carousels, mark first bag and last bag times, and check belt assignments from the device itself, and those updates flow straight into Airport CX and onto the passenger-facing baggage displays. The sealed brushed stainless steel housing is rated IP65 and NEMA 4X, so it stands up to water, dust, and corrosive liquids, and the weather-resistant resistive touchscreen stays usable with work gloves on. It runs across a wide temperature range, from cold mornings to hot aprons, and mounts on a tug, a stand, or a wall. It ships with Windows 11 and TugmanUI configured, so it is ready to work on arrival.
