Airport CX: End-to-end Airport Communication Solution

Airport CX is Simpleway’s passenger information platform. It runs your digital signage, flight information displays (FIDS), voice announcements over the public address system, and a built-in airport operational database (AODB) as one system, so everything passengers see and hear comes from a single source and always agrees.

How it works:

One server layer ingests live data from the AODB, external flight feeds, and other sources, then drives every channel from it. There is no separate interface to build between FIDS, baggage displays (BIDS), and the announcement engine, and no need to reconcile several databases. Each module can also run on its own, so an airport can start with FIDS or with announcements and add the rest later without rebuilding.

The built-in AODB is central. It holds flight schedules, gate and stand assignments, and baggage belt allocations, and it can integrate with your existing AODB or external flight data provider if you already run one. Operators can create and edit flights directly, handle diversions and charters, and give airline agents access to their own flights only. Beyond flight data, the integration platform connects the systems around it, from RMS and monitoring to parking, weather, transport, and fire alarm systems, so Airport CX fits the airport you already run.

Content is managed through a template designer. Your team or our team builds display layouts, schedules them by zone, date, or event, and pushes updates across one screen or hundreds. A one-click emergency override, with pre-built scenarios for weather, security, and safety, switches every display and announcement across affected zones at once, and can be triggered automatically by fire alarm and evacuation systems. Announcements run in 80+ languages through text-to-speech on Azure AI Speech, with visual paging and a sign language module for accessibility.

Airport CX is hardware neutral. It drives commercial displays through controllers, runs natively on Samsung and LG smart screens, and connects to PA systems from Q-SYS, Bosch, BiAmp, Honeywell, and Ateïs over AES67, Dante, or analog. Deploy it in the cloud, on-premise, or as a hybrid.
