Excess Baggage Company has secured a deal to operate nine bag weighing machines and a bag wrapping facility at London Stansted Airport.
The stand-alone weighing machines will provides customers with information on airline baggage restrictions, and will also calculate charges for excess baggage and for other elements of a connecting flight.
Travellers will also be able to gain information on other services available at the airport (such as bag shipping), or other retail offers available at the terminal using the machines.
Zoe Farmer, Stansted Airport’s head of in-terminal commercial, said, “Stansted Airport is delighted to welcome Excess Baggage Company and their new range of luggage wrapping and weighing services. We are certain that the millions of passengers travelling through the airport every year will find these new facilities incredibly useful. We’d like to wish them every success with their new services here.”
