Bolivia will have four new airports, two internationals and two for tourist purposes, from next year, announced the Ministry of Public Works.

According to an institutional report, the facilities are under construction in the southern department of Chuquisaca, in central Cochabamba and in the capital and will require an investment of approximately $ 35 million dollars.

The report also explained that air terminals in Chuquisaca and Cochabamba will have an international character, while the city of Cochabamba, in La Paz, and Monteagudo, in Chuquisaca will be devoted to tourists.
In February, President Evo Morales decided to nationalize three major airports in the country and the company that managed them, and established a plan to invest $ 19 million dollars to improve air services this year.
