2nd Aerospace & Defence MRO Summit to discuss on opportunities in South Asia

The market for India’s Aerospace and Defence sector is projected to reach US$ 70 billion from its present size of just US$ 1.7 billion in the next 10-12 years

STAT Times, the flagship international publication of STAT Media Group is organising the two day International Summit “ Aerospace & Defence MRO South Asia Summit” at Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi following the huge success of the launch event in January 2018.

The main theme of the two-day summit is “Aerospace & Defence MRO Opportunities in South Asia“. The rapid growth of Civil Aviation over the past few years has created tremendous opportunities in the Civil Aviation sector. Similarly the increasing needs for military aircraft for country’s defence has put a lot of thrust on the Aerospace & Defence Maintenance. There is a great deal of focus on modernisation of airports, communications, navigation and surveillance systems for air traffic management, radars and facilities for maintenance, repair and overhaul of Civil and military ,overhaul and maintenance of Aeroengines and production of avionics, components and accessories.

The ‘Make in India’ programme announced by the Government of India has given a fillip to manufacturing industries especially in the defence sector. The National Civil Aviation policy released by the Government aims at improving connectivity across the country and simplifying rules to attract wider participation of players in the Aviation MRO sector.

The main theme will focuson the opportunities that these initiatives have created in the context of the fast changing dynamics of Aviation industry.

Leaders from diverse sections of the aviation and allied industries both civil and defence will be discussing on various themes of topical interest in the context of these opportunities.

About the event:- Aerospace and Defence MRO South Asia Summit 2019 is the second two day summit organized by STAT Times following the success of the launch event in January 2018.
