Aviator Airport Alliance renews partnership with Turkish Airlines at Helsinki Airport
Aviator Airport Services Finland, part of Aviator Airport Alliance, a full-range provider of aviation services at 15 airports across the Nordics, has renewed its partnership with Turkish Airlines, the Turkish flag carrier who flies to more countries than any other for ground handling services at Helsinki Airport in Finland.
Aviator Airport Services Finland and Turkish Airlines started their cooperation at Helsinki Airport in 2023, with the scope of their partnership covering 60 flights per month. Under the renewed contract, Aviator Finland will continue providing Turkish Airlines with ground handling services, including passenger and ramp handling, as well as de-icing.
Commenting on the latest development, Kimmo Holopainen, Managing Director at Aviator Finland, said: “Successful contract renewals are among the best indicators of the strength of Aviator in the highly competitive ground handling market. I am confident that our continuing drive to go the extra mile for our customers in providing efficient and high-quality services is the key to success. The continuation of our partnership with Turkish Airlines further strengthens Aviator Finland’s position as the market leader at Helsinki Airport.”
Aviator Airport Alliance and Turkish Airlines started working together in 2012, when Turkish Airlines became one of the first clients for Aviator at its base at Copenhagen Airport. The partnership then expanded across the Nordic region, including to Helsinki in 2023. Turkish Airlines has high expectations for its ground handling providers and boasts a strong track record for on-time performance. In 2025, it achieved a new record high for on-time departure rates.
