Air France opens luxury lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Airline operator Air France has opened a new dedicated lounge for Business and Elite Plus passengers in Terminal 2G at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in France. The 7,860ft2 lounge is approximately five times larger than the previous facility and is located next to the airline’s boarding gates.

Guests are treated to a sense of luxury, with Haussmann-inspired Parisian surroundings and comfortable seating, complemented by a selection of spa products in the shower rooms. The lounge’s brasserie-style dining area serves a range of hot and cold dishes, freshly prepared in front of guests in an open-plan kitchen.

Air France will also introduce a resident baker in May 2017, who will freshly prepare a selection of pastries and other classic French delicacies.

Franck Terner, CEO of Air France, said, “Air France is committed to moving its products and services upmarket. It was essential for our lounges to accompany these developments, notably on medium-haul routes, where customers spend as much time at the airport as on the flight. This has been achieved with this modern and efficient lounge for our customers, offering them fast and easy access, a generous and comfortable space, and a selection of fresh dishes. This premium lounge, reflecting our French touch, is a considerable asset for Air France compared with our competitors.”
