The Portuguese government has selected VINCI Concessions to acquire ANA, the concession holder of the country’s 10 airports – Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Beja on the mainland; Ponta Delgada, Horta, Flores and Sainta Maria in the Azores; and Funchal and Porto Santo in Madeira

The transfer contract is due to be signed by the end of January 2013 and, once approved by the appropriate anti-trust authorities, the company’s subsidiary VINCI Airports will become one of the most significant international airport concession companies, according to VINCI

Once it takes control of ANA, VINCI Airports will manage a total of 23 airports in Portugal, France and Cambodia, and will have a revenue of more than €600 million (£487 million) and EBITDA of €270 million (£219 million)
