Plaza Premium Lounge has opened a new lounge at Edmonton International Airport, open to all travellers.

The lounge is open to all passengers and Plaza Premium says its concept “breaks the preconception that lounge use is exclusively for first class travellers”.

Song Hoi See, CEO of Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited, said: “I believe that travel should be a pleasure. It should begin the moment you step into the airport and it is my aim to provide comfort and convenience to all travellers going through this airport.

“We're not only providing lounge facilities to all travellers, but we're also taking the experience one step further, we've designed a food menu which far exceeds the food usually found at a lounge, we've further developed our software system to ensure for a seamless experience, and our service training has been refined to focus on interactivity.”

The latest lounge is the second airport pay-in lounge at EIA, and it joins the 25 airport-strong network of Plaza Premium Lounge around the world.

Several dignitaries helped unveil the new lounge: Mayor John Whaley of Leduc County, Mayor Greg Krischke of the City of Leduc, Edmonton Airports Board Chair Tom Redl, Reg Milley and Song Hoi See, who flew especially from Hong Kong to Edmonton for this special occasion.
