Aéroports de Paris has today (16 July) launched its new service Chargebox at Paris-Orly Airport, which provides passengers with a free and secure way to charge their mobile devices.

Kiosks in Paris-Orly’s boarding lounge will enable passengers to charge their mobile devices in a secure locked compartment. Each locker is fitted with different types of power cords for nearly all models including smartphones, games consoles and telephones.

The trial at Paris-Orly is being conducted in collaboration with Chargebox. More kiosks will shortly be installed at Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Aéroports de Paris builds, develops and manages airports including Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget. Nearly 89 million passengers attended the Paris Airports last year. The group’s current strategy aims to modernise its terminal facilities, upgrade quality of services, and diversify its sources of income.
