Bukhara International Airport put into operation a new terminal. According to the international standards, it features VIP and CIP halls, exchange offices, a post office, mother-and-child room, medical office and Duty Free shops. Capacity of the new terminal is 400 persons per hour.

Today the Bukhara Airport accepts all types of aircrafts. There are regular and charter flights, carrying tourists from America, Europe and Asia, who come here to see one of the oldest cities of Central Asia. Annual passenger traffic of the Bukhara airport is 100 thousand people. Opening of the new terminal will not only improve the terms of reception of foreign tourists, but, generally, will increase the number of flights and passengers of the airport.
