BGS Begins Cooperation with Arkia Israeli Airlines in Vilnius

Baltic Ground Services (BGS), an international provider of ground handling and aircraft fueling services, has begun cooperation with Arkia Israeli Airlines at Vilnius Airport (VNO), providing both ground handling and into-plane fueling services for the airline’s direct flights between Vilnius and Tel Aviv.

The partnership marks the start of BGS’ first cooperation with Arkia and further expands the company’s customer portfolio in Vilnius.

Arkia launched regular flights between Vilnius and Tel Aviv in May 2026 and currently operates the route three times per week during the summer season. The direct connection strengthens travel links between Lithuania and Israel while introducing a new airline to the Lithuanian market.

“Welcoming a new airline customer is always an important milestone. We are pleased to begin cooperation with Arkia in Vilnius and support the airline’s entry into the Lithuanian market. As air connectivity continues to recover and expand, reliable ground support remains an important factor in ensuring a positive operational experience from day one,” said Vitalis Dudys, Head of Commerce at BGS Group.

“Vilnius is an important addition to our seasonal network, and establishing reliable local partnerships is essential when launching operations in a new market. We are pleased to work with BGS and look forward to supporting passengers travelling between Lithuania and Israel throughout the summer season,” said Meital Dahan Mizrahi, V.P. Ground Operations & Customer Service Manager at Arkia Israeli Airlines.

The cooperation further strengthens BGS’ position at Vilnius Airport, where the company provides ground handling and fueling services to a growing number of international carriers.
