He said management has already struck a deal with labour representatives on the framework conditions if such a decision is taken.

Deutsche Lufthansa announced in mid-February that it would shorten work hours for ground crew at its cargo unit by 20 percent from March 1 and that is in talks on shorter working hours for pilots at the unit.
