Airport Show Dubai is an important platform for the French aviation and airport sector as USD $100 billion has been committed to airport investment between now and 2020 across the Middle East. The airports of the GCC area (Gulf Cooperation Council) should see 250 million passengers passing through them by 2020. Growth of 5.2% per year is forecast in air traffic by 2020, and 5.8% cent per year in passenger traffic between now and 2025. No fewer than 10 airport construction, extension or renovation projects are planned over the next few years in the Middle East.
Airport Show Dubai continues to be the benchmark trade fair for firms to position themselves on all the airport modernisation and new construction projects in the region and it is an important opportunity for French companies to meet with key industry leaders.
