Glasgow airport will be the eighth UK airport to be served by Jet2, the airline has announced.
The low cost carrier will start flights to nine destinations from March next year, including Nice and Faro.
The launch of Jet2 flights from Glasgow is good news for the airport, which suffered after the demise of Globespan last year.
In a statement on its website, Jet2 said it would bring "substantial investment" to the region, including 150 new jobs.
