New Eurowings Lounge opened at Munich Airport

Premiere at Munich Airport: With immediate effect, passengers taking off from Germany’s second-largest airport with Eurowings will have access to the Eurowings Lounge for the first time. Just a few days after the airline’s relocation to Terminal 1, Eurowings has established a new and exclusive waiting area to its range of services at the new location.

The Eurowings Lounge will be available to BIZclass guests as well as Miles & More status customers with a SMART fare booking. In addition to an attractive range of snacks, drinks, various coffee specialties and free water, Eurowings guests can use the airport’s Wi-Fi free of charge. They are also automatically informed about the boarding of their respective flight. The new Eurowings Lounge is located near Gate A 9. It is open daily from 5 am to 10 pm. Passengers departing via the non-Schengen area can access the “Airport Lounge World”.

As we know from regular passenger surveys, an exclusive waiting area is what our customers appreciate in a lounge – a place where they can relax or work in peace,” says Oliver Wagner, Chief Commercial Officer at Eurowings. “And it is precisely this need we are now meeting with our modern range of services in Munich“.

Since June 1, Eurowings has been handling passengers in Area A of Terminal 1. They benefit from short distances and can also use all Eurowings service facilities easily and conveniently in one continuous area. The Eurowings check-in and security checkpoints are just a few steps from the terminal entrance.
