ServiceTec selected to provide managed IT to Salt Lake City

ServiceTec International, an independent provider of managed IT services for airports and airlines, has been selected by Salt Lake City Department of Airports (SLCDA) to provide on-site managed airport IT systems support at the new terminal at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).

As part of a new, multi-year agreement, ServiceTec will provide support for a wide range of the airport’s IT systems including the common-use passenger processing, network and infrastructure support, and various signage/display systems. In addition, ServiceTec will be involved in current and future IT projects that the airport is deploying to meet evolving business and technical needs.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to work with SLCDA at Salt Lake City International Airport. The new terminal is absolutely stunning and not only provides a major upgrade to the existing facilities but also has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the beauty of Utah. We look forward to working closely with the airport team as we move toward the September 15, 2020, opening date for phase 1 and to providing our airport IT expertise and support services as the airport continues to grow,” said Lynne Harrison, executive vice president of ServiceTec.

SeviceTec will look to meet the challenge of SLC with many flights arriving and departing around the same time. The new facility is designed to be more efficient with state-of-the-art functionality and ease-of-use to meet the airport’s present and future needs and to be adaptable to the constantly changing aviation industry.
