The Hosted Buyer programme is Transport Security Expo’s signature networking event, providing a platform for selected exhibitors to meet relevant buyers in a series of pre-arranged, face-to-face meetings.

In 2014, over 280 such meetings took place, launching many buyer/supplier relationships that might never otherwise have begun. This year, more than 20 buyers have already signed up for the programme and, collectively, they have in excess of £47 million worth of contracts to award. Representing every major area of the transport security sector, they include:

o   Abu Dhabi Ports
o   Airports Company South Africa (ACSA)
o   ANA Aeroportos de Portugal
o   Border Force
o   Bridge Co. Kuwait
o   Brinks Global Services
o   British Transport Police
o   DGRM Maritime
o   Dublin Airport Authority (DAA)
o   EFACEC
o   Eurostar
o   GACM – Mexico
o   Globalair – Air Europa
o   Heathrow Airport
o   Hong Kong International Airport
o   Iberia
o   London Luton Airport
o   PKP Cargo
o   Polish State Railways
o   Rotterdam The Hague Airport
o   TAP Portugal

A carefully designed matching service will ensure that suppliers have the precise capabilities required to satisfy the requirements of the buyers they are scheduled to meet. As a result, both buyers and suppliers save invaluable time because they know that each meeting they have will offer the prospect of a successful outcome.

Peter Jones, CEO of Transport Security Expo’s organisers, Nineteen Events, commented:
“The Hosted Buyer programme at Transport Security Expo has proven to be very successful in the past. This year, with more than £47 million worth of business represented by buyers who have already confirmed their participation, it looks set to be more successful than ever.”

Transport Security Expo, now in its 13th edition, has become the main global platform bringing government, industry & academia together to counter the threats against our transportation networks. Registration is free of charge and includes access to the exhibition as well as all conferences and workshops and the evening networking reception hosted on the 2nd December.
