WFS Wins Tender to Manage Palletisation Lane for Air France KLM Martinair Cargo at Paris CDG

Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP Cargo) has awarded Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) a contract to provide cargo handling staff for one of the palletisation lanes at its freight terminal G1XL at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport for the next two years.

Laurent Bernard, Vice President Cargo France at WFS, commented: “This is the first time that our teams at Paris CDG are providing cargo airline assistance via an in-house customer warehouse operation instead of in our own facility.

“I would like to congratulate our transition managers Anastasia Maciejewski and Pascal Wannyn, who stepped up to the challenge, and acknowledge the help of our support functions in successfully building a dedicated team of 30 people capable of working in a different operating environment, and ready to deliver the high standards of Air France Cargo. This is a new business model for WFS in France and a welcome opportunity to consolidate and extend our partnership with Air France.”

WFS already provides cargo handling and documentation services for Air France at Paris Orly and at regional airports in the French provinces.
