Howard Eng has been appointed president and CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, with an expected start date late in the first quarter of 2012.
Eng is returning to Canada after having worked as executive director, airport operations, at Hong Kong International Airport since 1995.
Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Eng was vice president, operations at Edmonton International Airport, both with Transport Canada and the Edmonton Airport Authority.
He is a graduate of the University of Alberta with over 30 years of leadership experience, specializing in airport hub development.
Lloyd McCoomb, current president and CEO will remain in office to assist with the transition to Eng's leadership.
