Announcing the new global event series – Mission Critical Technologies

KNect365 are delighted to announce the launch of a new global event series into the public safety industry – Mission Critical Technologies. https://tmt.knect365.com/mission-critical-technologies/

Mission Critical Technologies (June 2018, London UK) is a global exhibition and conference dedicated to next generation public safety technologies. It is annual showcase of the leading technology providers and leading experts that come together to enhance and shape public protection and disaster relief through technology innovation.

The emergency services have previously found it challenging to select and adopt new technologies. Reasons such as a lack of training and education; available funding; proper business cases and a lack of adoption by the workforce have created a barrier, preventing organisations from making progress in their digital transformation.

However, as broadband becomes more prevalent in public safety, enabling new data sources, emerging technologies are put into the spot light. The huge benefits of such technologies are starting to be realised such as the use of: video streaming, wearable tech, drones, data analytics, data security, data storage and many more.

Mission Critical Technologies will facilitate and promote the technological progression of public safety organisations through a two-day exhibition with over 100 organisations showcasing their solutions for today but also for tomorrow through the Disruptive Innovation Initiative – a platform for industry, academia and end user to promote their research and development. The exhibition will also include a Networking Bar to facilitate business development as well as a Drone Zone, showcasing the latest unmanned solutions.

Alongside the exhibition, Mission Critical Technologies will educate the community through CPD accredited conferences. Our Pioneers In PPDR will kick off the event with our Global Pioneers Summit, discussing the macro-topics of the community with an engaging audience. Following the Summit, the conference will break into two focus areas – Frontline Innovation, touching on the technologies impacting the leading leg of public safety; and back-end command and control innovation.

The event will also include a number of other valuable features unique to Mission Critical Technologies, including the Disruptive Innovation programme, a live Hackathon, the Inaugural MCT Wrap Up Party, Analyst’s Breakfast Briefing and an invite-only Pioneers In PPDR programme.

Alongside the flagship, global event in London 2018, will be the regional events Mission Critical Technologies Asia (October 2018), Mission Critical Technologies Africa (November, 2018) and the 8th Annual Critical Control Rooms (December, 2018).

Mission Critical Technologies will be free for all PPDR representatives to attend, with a limited number of industry passes available. To register your interest in the event or to find out more contact Jackson Szabo at jackson.szabo@knect365.com or call +44207 55 19359.
