Business Centre Club awarded ‘Polish Airports’ State Enterprise (PPL) the ‘Ambassador for the Polish Economy’ status for the second time running.

The operator of Warsaw Chopin Airport was recognised as a reliable business partner for international companies, one that promotes the positive image of Polish entrepreneurs and contributes to Poland’s economic growth, boosting the country’s credibility in the world.

Founded in 1991, Business Centre Club is a prestigious association of entrepreneurs and the largest organisation of private employers in Poland. The club currently has 2500 members (private persons and businesses) from all industries, including multinational corporations, financial and insurance institutions, telecommunications services companies, major Polish manufacturers, universities, publishing companies and well-known law firms.

Chopin Airport is the largest airport in Poland. In 2010, the airport handled more than 8.7 million passengers, which represents over 42% of Poland’s total air traffic. Last year it was awarded the ‘Customer-friendly Company’ title for its exceptional high-quality customer service and the ‘Business Superbrand’ status as one of Poland’s leading business brands.
