Furthermore, the Airport Academy will promote its free pre-employment support courses, which include fully accredited training schemes for people on jobseekers’ allowance who need additional assistance prior to applying for jobs.

Marcella M’Rabety, Head of Education, Skills and Employment, says: “As confidence returns to the sector and passenger numbers continue to rise, and EMA’s cargo operation goes from strength to strength, this is a really exciting time to be joining the team at East Midlands Airport. The jobs fair will showcase a wide range of vacancies from hospitality to airport security and operations. If job seekers want to apply for one of the airport jobs on the day, my colleagues will be on hand to interview them. Alternatively, attendees can use the opportunity to simply explore what the jobs entail.”
